Ivanka Trump is not only a successful businesswoman, model, writer and wife, but she is also probably one of the coolest moms on the block! The daughter of Donald Trump makes sure she still spends at least one special lunch date with her daughter once a week.
"I have a weekly standing lunch date with Arabella," Trump said. "She comes to the office and we have a business meeting. She is my most important lunch meeting of the week!"
Trump, 32, is married to businessman Jared Kushner, who owns his family's real estate company and the newspaper The New York Observer. The successful couple have two children, 2-year-old Arabella Rose Kushner and their newborn Joseph Frederick Kushner.
But despite being very busy working for her family's Trump business, the mother of two still spends quality time with her children and makes sure to "create experiences" for them.
For example, the night before she had to leave for Florida to unveil the Gary Player Villa at Trump National Doral Miami, the mom created a very fun experience for her kids. "I knew I was traveling today and wouldn't be there when Arabella woke up," Trump said. "So I told her that before I left, we'd have a campout in the living room. So we threw some sheets over a rolling rack, I brought home pizza and we made s'mores in the microwave."
But the businesswoman doesn't just bring home pizza. She also spends quality time cooking with her children, saying it's another great tool she uses to bond with her children and give them life lessons. "There's so many things you can teach a child when you cook," Trump said. "Even the experience of taking them to the grocery store. You can enrich their vocabulary by just pointing at colors and ingredients."
Trump seems like a natural at motherhood. She even says she doesn't feel bad about not being able to work out that much anymore since its extra time spent away from her children. "It's funny, when you're younger, you feel guilty when you don't exercise," Trump said. "But when you have young children, you actually start feeling guilty when you exercise, because this is another hour I'm away from my kids!"
