The Ryan Phillippe photobomb took place when the star was walking to lunch with pal Brian Washington on Thursday. Paparazzi cameras caught both Phillippe and Washington looking somewhat bored on the street. Phillippe did not smile and had hands in his pocket.

So Sarah Hudson decided to have a little fun with the moment. She posed to the actor's right with her hip sticking out and a big open smile on her face.

Ryan Phillippe did not seem to notice his photobomber at the time. But he certainly discovered her before he posted the full picture on Instagram. "Got papped w/ @bwash & that lady," he wrote next to the pic.

"That lady," aka Sarah Hudson, then published the image on her own Instagram page, as well. "Just thought I'd make this dudes 'paparazzi' pic a little sassier this morning!" she captioned the photo.

And according to Just Jared, Ryan Phillippe's photobomber was not just some random woman. Sarah Hudson is actually the cousin of actress Kate Hudson. Her godparents are reportedly Goldie Hawn and Steven Tyler.

Ironically, Ryan Phillippe posted this photobomb on Instagram just days after he criticized the social network. "If you judged the world based on only Instagram pictures you would think world peace had been achieved," the actor tweeted. "The planet was populated by attractive people on constant vacation. Flowers & coffee."

According to Just Jared, Ryan Phillippe also tweeted, "Instagram kinda makes us all superficial bimbos. Or fake models... (I still like it)."

It is unclear where Ryan Phillippe's girlfriend, Paulina Slagter, was when this photobombing occurred. The actor has been dating the 22-year-old law student since 2011. According to Page Six, Phillippe recently described his relationship with Slagter as "serious."
