Does Rob Kardashian have a secret son? Nicole Richie and a group of friends close to Rob seem to think so. Sources are claiming that Rob accidentally revealed his secret lovechild during a holiday party this week. "The possibility that Rob may have a child has been the buzz in the Kardashian circle for a while, but no one knows for sure. And no one will talk about it," A source close to the famous family revealed to Star magazine. Another source told the magazine that Rob accidentally let it slip during a party. After friends noticed a teddy bear on his bed and asked him about it, "he said that it was a present for his son."

There have been times in the past when people had wondered if Rob Kardashian, 26, was secretly a father. In 2009 he reportedly had an interesting Twitter exchange with Nicole Richie after he tweeted: "Bout to take time today to see the ones whom I never see..." Richie replied, "Like your son?" and Rob responded, "My son unfortunately doesn't stay in L.A. You know that. Don't remind me." There was also an instance in May when Rob posted a photo on Instagram captioned: "Shout out to God ... Shout out Mom, shout out to my son's mom cuz she been holding me down since high school n shout out to my son Robert the Third. lol" The photo and tweets were quickly deleted.

Sources close to the situation claim that his child was the result of a relationship with a woman in Miami four years ago. It seems strange that Rob Kardashian would want to hide his son and keep him a secret. His sisters, Kim and Kourtney, both had their children before getting married, and they have not been shy about sharing all things baby with the world. It seems unlikely that Rob has anything to be ashamed of, so perhaps it's his mom, Kris Jenner, who wants to keep the lovechild under wraps.

"Any time it's even mentioned, Kris changes the subject," A family insider told Star. "For whatever reason, Kris is fearful that Rob being a father could hurt the [Kardashian] brand." How could an innocent and probably adorable toddler possibly hurt the Kardashian brand?

We might never know if Rob has been secretly hiding a son, but according to reports he has been planning a move to Miami. Maybe he wants to be closer to his child? If we know the Kardashians — and who doesn't at this point — this will all probably play out on Keeping Up with the Kardashians for ratings next season. Stay tuned!
