According to the blogger at RingsideReport,

"Yesterday, I righted a wrong and proved that my friend, the LEGENDARY Lil Wayne, was alive and well but ... [people] are keeping it going ... Firstly, Lil Wayne is NOT dead. I just spoke to him and he said the following: 'Vinman, I'm sick of these keyboard warrior twats putting me on blast and saying that I died. Really? Really? My god, imagine if my family saw those headlines. They'd be devastated! I am alive and well and please release the dogs on these FOOLS and do not extend an olive tree branch either. Also, Vinman, please trace the IPs, which I know you're very good at, and put them on blast. My niece got in trouble last week when she called somebody dead. Thank you fella.'"

Lil Wayne has not personally stepped out to dispute the reports alleging he's died, since no major news source is reporting his death, we must conclude these reports are completely false.

This most recent false report about Lil Wayne being dead must have reached a number of fans however, as, according to TheEpochTimes, over 200,000 people searched for news about Lil Wayne's dying on Monday.

One proof that the Lil Wayne claims are likely untrue is the fact that the rapper released a single in collaboration with Chris Brown titled "Loyal."

Earlier this year a huge death hoax concerning Lil Wayne broke out after TMZ mistakenly reported that the rapper was on his death bed and receiving his last rites. Though this report was inaccurate, Lil Wayne did experience health scare at the time, as he suffered a number of epileptic seizures in a row. The rapper later revealed in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel that he had suffered with the health problem his entire life.

"It [the seizures] was serious because I was upstairs and my homies were downstairs, and they didn't even know that I was up there seizing. One of them just was like, 'he hasn't come down in a minute.'"

To that Lil Wayne added, "It's just a private matter that I've been dealing with my whole life. We're so used to it happening, so my doctors prepped all my homies ... this isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures; y'all just never hear about it. This time it got real bad because I got three of 'em in a row, and on the third one, my heart rate went down to, like, 30 percent. Basically, I could've died soon. That's why it was so serious. The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself. That's typical me, though."
