Lindsay Lohan is facing legal trouble again, and of course she's doing it in the spotlight. After allegedly ordering an attack on Paris Hilton's brother, Barron Hilton, it seems possible she'll be headed back to jail once more.

Tons of celebrities get arrested and go to prison, but unlike Lohan, there are many who manage to keep their jail sentences under wraps. These 11 celebrities spent time in prison for all kinds of charges ranging from kicking a cop to attempted murder. One celeb even served two years in jail for drug trafficking, then went on to star one of the most family-friendly sitcoms of the '90s! 1. Mark Wahlberg

In 1986 Mark Wahlberg served 45 days of a two-year sentence in jail. His crime? Shockingly, he was charged with attempted murder and assault after he pleaded guilty to attacking a middle-aged Vietnamese man on the street and knocking him unconscious with a large wooden stick while yelling racial slurs.

2. Paul McCartney

In 1980, Paul McCartney was caught with 10 pounds of marijuana and served ten days in prison.

3. Michelle Rodriguez

In 2007 Fast and Furious star Michelle Rodriguez served 18 days of a 180-day sentence after violating probation. After a previous DUI arrest, she failed to perform her designated community-service hours or follow her alcohol education program; so, she was shipped off to jail.

4. Wesley Snipes

Wesley Snipes was busted on multiple accounts of failing to file federal income tax returns, so he was shipped of to "Club Fed" from 2010-2013.

5. Paris Hilton

In 2007 Paris Hilton was pulled over for speeding and driving without a license. She also violated probation after failing to enroll in a court-ordered rehab program. Hilton only spent three days in jail, but she left with an electronic ankle bracelet and had to stay under house arrest for 40 days.

6. Christian Slater

When Christian Slater was charged with assaulting his girlfriend while he was high and drunk in 2007 he was sentenced to three months in jail along with an extensive rehab program. Slater served 59 days of the three month sentence.

7.Matthew McConaughey

Matthew McConaughey spent nine hours in jail after neighbors called police to his home for a noise disturbance. When they got there police found the actor naked, smoking marijuana, and playing bongo drums. Eventually the charges were dropped but he did have to pay a fine for a noise violation.

8. Jane Fonda

Though she was released almost immediately, Jane Fonda found herself in trouble in 1970 after she kicked a cop and was falsely accused of trying to smuggle drugs that actually turned out to be vitamins.

9. Tim Allen

Home Improvement star Tim Allen has been to jail numerous time but his longest time served was from 1979-1981 when he pleaded guilty to drug trafficking charges after being caught with 1.2 pounds of cocaine.

10. Danny Trejo

From 1961 to 1972 Danny Trejo spent a whopping 11 years in the slammer when he was busted on drug and robbery charges. He also was ordered to attend a 12-step program.

11. Robert Downey Jr.

In 1998 Robert Downey Jr served one year of a three year sentence at the California Substance Abuse Treatment Facility and State Prison for missing a required drug test during his three year probation sentence that he was given after he trespassed into a neighbor's house high and fell asleep on a bed.

Check out this clip of Paris Hilton, fresh out of jail, on the Late Show with David Letterman trying to promote her new perfume. Letterman catches her off guard by only wanting to talk about her time in prison, "How did you like being in jail?" he asks Hilton, who gets visibly upset when Letterman won't let it go.
