Kelly Ripa's ripped abs were showcased in her recent tweet. The 41-year-old mother of three flaunted her hard work as she stretched her legs against a wall that says, "Whether you think you can or you can't-you're right."
"Thank you @AKTINMOTION and @TheKaiserTweet for letting me lean on you," she tweeted with the picture. This was a shout out to her fitness trainer Anna Kaiser, creator of AKT INMOTION, who trains the likes of Sarah Jessica Parker and Shakira. Ripa trains with Kaiser three days each week, doing "cardio ballet and power yoga" according to an interview with Good Housekeeping. She additionally takes "spinning classes at Soul Cycle [in New York], which I love, and I run."
"I work out every day. It's part of my life. That's one of the benefits of having kids in school full-time. I'm usually done with work around 11 A.M., so I have time before I pick the kids up from school," Ripa says to Good Housekeeping. "I do it more for my insides than my outside, but the outside gets a nice benefit, too. I feel like my mind is a little quieter when I exercise." Her trainer Kaiser posted an Ab-blasting workout for Shape that might be similar to the cardio ballet that Ripa does with her!
And her diet? "I'm not militant about anything. If there's cheesecake in the house, I'll have some. If I'm in the mood for something, I'll have it. I don't obsess about anything. I could have three or four 'cheat days' in a week and then not have dessert for another three months," she explains to Good Housekeeping.
She admits to being a worrier and that exercising allows her to focus on other things. When she's unmotivated to work out, she will take a day off, but she tries not to. "If I don't do it every day, I won't do it at all," she says about exercising. And she's definitely gotten great results!
