Macaulay Culkin isn't just a former child actor. Now the Home Alone star is a musician in The Pizza Underground, a Velvet Underground cover band that sings songs about pizza! Not a bad turn for a guy who spent the '90s as every kid's favorite actor.

Culkin starred in movies that have gone on to become kiddie classics like Home Alone and My Girl. He got to play every child's dream characters — like Kevin, who fended off bad guys with his wits and booby-trap talents in Home Alone and braved New York on his own in the sequel, and as the titular character in Richie Rich, spending obscene amounts of money.

Culkin started acting when he was 4 and briefly retired at 14. After that he was married to actress Rachel Miner in 1998, but they quickly divorced in 2000. In 2002 Culkin began dating Mila Kunis, and the two stayed together until 2011. In 2005 Culkin made headlines when he testified in Michael Jackson's child molestation trial on behalf of the defense.

Culkin had famously appeared in Jackson's "Black or White" video, and the two had been friends throughout Culken's childhood. In court he stated that while he did sleep in Jackson's bedroom numerous times as a child he was never molested by the singer and called the allegations "absolutely ridiculous."

In 2012, fans were shocked when photos of the actor looking gaunt surfaced in The National Enquirer. The publication alleged the child star was addicted to heroin and prescription pills, claiming that he was in a downward spiral after splitting from Kunis. His rep denied these allegations telling the press that rumors of Culken being addicted to drugs were, "impossibly ridiculously fictitious".

Today, the Party Monster actor looks great and seems to be doing really well. Culkin has returned to acting, and recently Pitchfork reported his participation in the Velvet Underground parody band called The Pizza Underground. Hilariously, the band sings covers like "Cheese Days," "All the Pizza Parties," and "I'm Waiting for Delivery Man." Culken sings, plays percussion, and rocks the kazoo on the tracks, which were all recorded at his house.

Everything about this is delightful! Kevin McCallister from Home Alone playing the kazoo on cover songs about pizza? If they ever go on tour, we'll be front and center. To listen to "Take A Bite of the Wild Slice" visit The Pizza Underground's Band Camp website.
