How will Paul Walker's net worth be split in the aftermath of his death? The Fast and the Furious actor, who died yesterday in a tragic car crash explosion, was worth $45 million according to website Celebrity Net Worth. It's unclear as of press time whether Walker had a will or left any specific instructions as to how to divide his net worth. He is survived by his 15-year-old daughter, Meadow.
No reports have detailed any of Walker's financial plans in the event of his death, including whether there is a trust for Meadow or if he wished to donate any of his fortune to charitable or religious organizations. His daughter was living with his ex Rebecca McBrain in Hawaii, but Walker confirmed in an October 2011 interview that she had recently moved to California in order to be closer to him.
The bulk of his $45 million fortune came from the Fast and the Furious franchise, of which Walker had starred in six of the seven films. He also had roles in other movies including PleasantVille and Varsity Blues. Walker also had parts in hit movies like Takers and Into the Blue.
The actor spoke with People magazine in 2011 about Meadow and said that she had "bloomed" into a woman. "She's got boobs now and it sucks," he joked. "It was a really sad day for me ... most dads out there can relate."
Walker also spoke about Meadow and wish traits she had of his, as well as those she took from her mother Rebecca. "She's a bit more like her mother, but she's more how I am innately," he said. "[Meadow's] more of a free roamer and she appreciates the little stuff.
Numerous celebrities have also taken to Twitter to express their shock and sadness at his tragic death. "What a tragedy," tweeted Ariana Grande. "Cherish every moment with your friends, family & loved ones. You never know what could happen. Heartbreaking #RIPPaulWalker."
Another passenger in the vehicle also reportedly passed away in the car crash. TMZ reports that the driver accidentally crashed into a post or tree before the car burst into flames. Senior Vice-President at Columbia Tristar Pictures DeVon Franklin tweeted: "Condolences to the family of Paul Walker. Our prayers are with him and his FF at this difficult time."
