What will happen to the daughter of actor Paul Walker after his tragic death yesterday? Walker, who passed away in a car crash explosion in Southern California, left behind a 15-year-old daughter named Meadow. Walker had Meadow with an ex-girlfriend named Rebecca, who currently lives in Hawaii. The actor confirmed in an October 2011 interview that Meadow had moved from Hawaii to California in order to be closer to him.
It's highly likely that Rebecca will take full custody of Meadow in the wake of his tragic death, but it's unclear whether she will move to California or have Meadow return to Hawaii. There have not been any reports of Walker leaving a will behind or instructions about what to do with his net worth in the event of his death.
The actor spoke with People magazine about Meadow two years ago and said that she had "bloomed" into a woman. "She's got boobs now and it sucks," he joked. "It was a really sad day for me ... most dads out there can relate."
Walker also spoke about Meadow and which traits she had of his, as well as those she took from her mother Rebecca. "She's a bit more like her mother, but she's more how I am innately," he said. "[Meadow's] more of a free roamer and she appreciates the little stuff.
Walker turned 40 earlier this year. The Twitter handle @247PAPSTV tweeted a graphic explosion image from his car crash, which also appears on TMZ, and captioned it with, "Sadly ... Here is the Photo of the Paul Walker Crash Scene in Santa Clarita #RIP Paul Walker."
Another passenger in the vehicle also reportedly passed away in the car crash. TMZ reports that the driver accidentally crashed into a post or tree before the car burst into flames. Senior Vice-President at Columbia Tristar Pictures DeVon Franklin tweeted: "Condolences to the family of Paul Walker. Our prayers are with him and his FF at this difficult time."
