Lindsay Lohan is looking better after rehab! We are so excited to see LiLo's Instagram this week, which seems to show that the troubled actress is recovering well after her latest difficult period. How do we know? The proof is in the sweet potatoes!
Yesterday, LiLo posted Instagrams of her own homemade Thanksgiving dish, baked marshmallow yams. Lohan posted several pictures of the baked dish in progress, but the picture of her with the finished product was the one that got us the most excited. Look at how good she looks! She's starting to look like her old self again.
After several photos taken throughout the prep and baking process, LiLo captioned the picture above: "yay! Finalement! #own #thechew #werk #cook !" Lohan said she got the recipe from the host of ABC's The Chew, Carla Hall. Way to go, Carla Hall! It looks delicious.
It's been a long road to the kitchen. After her June 2012 car cash, Lohan was ordered to spend 90 days in a rehabilitation facility and 30 days of community labor as part of a plea bargain in March of this year. A few months ago, the Canyons star completed her time in rehab for the sixth time. Shortly after her release, Lohan went on Oprah’s Next Chapter and admitted she was an addict. Her drug of choice? Alcohol. "[Cocaine] allowed me to drink more," she tells Oprah. "I think that's why I did it when I did it. It was a party thing."
To say it has been a difficult year for Lohan would be an understatement. Rumors of relapse came quickly after photos surfaced of Lohan apparently reaching for a wine bottle, but Lohan denied claims that she has been drinking. About a year ago, Lohan was arrested for allegedly assaulting a woman named Tiffany Eve Mitchell at a nightclub in Manhattan. Mitchell planned on suing Lohan, but the case was dismissed because of a lack of evidence and sworn-in witnesses. More recently, Lohan was blamed for the critical failure of the movie The Canyons by the film's screenwriter, Bret Easton Ellis.
Still, Lohan has been keeping busy and taking time for herself, working on her own recovery. We hope this latest Instagram pic is a sign of positive things to come for LiLo!
