Jerry Seinfeld's oldest daughter, Sascha, had her Bat Mitzvah on Nov. 16 and — to no one's surprise — the comedian and his wife, Jessica, spared no expense. Countless famous friends of the legendary comedian, including Andy Cohen and George Stephanopoulos, attended the lavish coming-of-age party. But leave it to Jerry Seinfeld. This was not a stuffy affair!
Sascha Seinfeld turned 13 two weeks ago, but held off on her Bat Mitzvah until Nov. 16. Everybody who's anybody showed up to celebrate. TV personality Kelly Ripa even brought up the event on Live With Kelly & Michael on Monday, gushing about the fun she had and joking that she was best friends with her whiskey and sour at the Seinfeld family party! The bubbly morning-show host went on to share a few photos from Sascha Seinfeld's Bat Mitzvah with the audience.
Jerry and Jessica Seinfeld married in 1999 and have three children. Jessica, a former PR executive for Tommy Hilfiger, posted a few fun photos from the celebration on Instagram. One of Seinfeld's Instagram photos shows Cohen, Stephanopoulos, her husband, and the Seinfelds' son Shepherd, 8. Jerry is seen holding his son while Shepherd flashes a big smile and wide eyes. Everyone seems to be having fun in that photo!
In one funny photo from the Seinfeld Bat Mitzvah, Shepherd is sitting with an older boy who appears to be napping beside him on the couch. Jessica captioned the photo with the line: "Shepherd and his babysitter." The joke? The older boy in the photo is Kelly Ripa's son! When Ripa shared the photo Monday morning, she joked that he would remain nameless.
Yet another photo from Jessica Seinfeld's Instagram account shows Sascha at her actual birthday. The Seinfeld daughter is just about to blow out the glowing candles on her big white cake. She's wearing hip oversized black glasses and a cute T-shirt. Jessica also posted a photo a couple of days ago in which Sascha is seen chugging a bottle of sparkling apple cider bottle with the caption: "Getting' faded, pre-Bat Mitzvah."
Mazel Tov, Sascha!
