P. Diddy and Kellie Pickler sure made an interesting duo at the Country Music Awards last Wednesday. The hip-hop star had a lot of viewers wondering why he would be presenting the award for the best vocal group of the year at the CMAs along with Kellie Pickler. But it turns out Diddy is a country music fan!

American Idol contestant Kellie Pickler has her fourth album, The Woman I Am, coming out on Nov. 11. So it's no surprise Diddy is jumping on the Kellie bandwagon.

Pickler starts off her album with her second single, "Little Bit Gypsy", after her first single off the album, "Someone Somewhere Tonight".

Spoken like a true idol, Pickler told UPI earlier this year: "I've made records where I'm trying to make everybody happy and say what other people want me to say. That was miserable. If you go in and you're honest, people will either like you or not. You can't please them all, so you might as well be happy with it yourself. It's your face on the cover. You can't change who you are to please other people." According to Daily Mail Pickler's new album is already in the works.

Pickler was on the fifth season of American Idol, where she made it to the top 10 but didn't win the reality show. Nevertheless, Pickler went on to forge a successful career by touring the country with America's sweetheart Taylor Swift. She has won a few CMA awards and married songwriter Kyle Jacobs.

Pickler recently opened up about American Idol saying: "With American Idol, you develop backward as an artist because it's more like a karaoke show where you're singing cover songs from different genres that don't necessarily fir you as an artist. It's almost like musical boot camp, but in a good way. You learn quickly about the touring process and the whole recording process."

Pickler is extremely excited about her new album, she told E Online, "My husband [Kyle Jacobs] and I co-wrote some of the songs on the record, which was really neat to be able to collaborate together. I just can't wait for everyone to hear it!"
