Miley Cyrus arrived at the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) in Amsterdam this weekend wearing more skin than clothing. Cyrus chose a Biggie and Tupac fabric dress, which laced up in the front, had no back and displayed "Please Stop Violence" across the bottom. Was Cyrus trying to send an important message of peace? If so, it was pretty hard to pay attention to the words.
After Miley Cyrus' raunchy "Blurred Lines" performance at the VMAs, it's hard to be shocked by anything. Nevertheless, the down-to-there neckline and thigh-high hem certainly grabbed headlines.
The VMAs and EMAs are far from the only time Cyrus wore little clothing, though. The "Wrecking Ball" singer showed up at the 2013 iHeartRadio Music Festival on Sept. 21 in Las Vegas wearing nipple pasties and a see-through white fishnet dress. And, of course, her tongue was hanging out.
Cyrus also appeared and performed on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon wearing everything but pants. Cyrus sported an oversized white button-down shirt with an exposed bra, chunky gold necklace and suspenders. Fallon joked with the singer that she needs to wear more clothes to actually stay warm inside the cold studio.
At Cyrus' album release party for her new album Bangerz, she wore another risque outfit, equipped with a pink bra, mini and clunky black platforms. The singer looked like she was wearing her underwear rather than her actual clothes!
Fashion photographer Terry Richardson did a photo shoot with the pop star last month with her pulling up a skimpy bodysuit to reveal, well, a lot. She was also shot wearing nothing but tights. Critics of the "Wrecking Ball" singer said Cyrus' photo shoot was anything but fashionable.
The controversial singer appeared on Saturday Night Live in October wearing more clothes than she normally does, shocking the live audience and viewers. However, her distinguished look didn't last long, and she quickly went back to her typical raunchy self for the SNL after-party wearing a completely see-through dress. Or was it more of a sports jersey? Either way, Cyrus' look left little to the imagination.
Last but certainly not least, Miley Cyrus' memorable 2013 VMA outfits gave us more than a peek at the singer's body. Cyrus started the performance wearing a fuzzy teddy bear leotard, with the bear's tongue sticking out on her chest. But she quickly ripped off her leotard to reveal a nude-colored plastic bra and panties.
Oh, Miley. Will you ever learn?
