Ohio State Marching Band has done it again! Just when we thought the moonwalking, Michael Jackson loving musicians couldn't up the ante anymore, they go and put on a Hollywood Blockbuster halftime show that would blow even the Simon Cowell away.

During the half time show of the Ohio State University vs. Penn State game this weekend the Ohio State Marching Band a.k.a " Best Damned Band In The Land," was found pulling out all the stops as they performed not only some of the greatest musical numbers from favorite Hollywood Blockbuster movies, they also put together some of the most powerful choreography moves you've ever seen.
As the Ohio Marching Band piled on to the field, the announcer was heard saying,
"We're going to the movies! Tonight the Ohio State University Marching Band has your ticket to a big time half time show of Hollywood Blockbusters."
Soon after the Buckeye Band enters the field we hear the announcer call out, "Look up in the sky!" as the familiar music from "Superman: The Movie" begins to fill the air. Soon we see the marching band makes a formation of the well known Superman "S" which gets the crowd cheering. But what comes next really brings the crowds to their feet.
The band disperses, rearranging itself into two groups -- one forming a leaning building, while the other creates the figure of a man in a cape. It's Superman! Jogging along together while continuing to play the Superman theme, the band members make it appear as though the "Man of Steel" is flying across the field towards the leaning building, just in time to push it back upright. The crowd goes wild, but the Ohio State Marching Band is far from finished.
Next we hear the familiar music from the Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy as the band forms two rings on the field.
The music then takes a quick twist into another familiar Hollywood Blockbuster theme song as the Ohio State Marching Band repositions itself into the initials "HP."
The halftime show continues as the Harry Potter theme song drifts magically across the field. This of course gets the crowds going again when suddenly the Ohio State marching band reorganizes itself again into the shape of a boy on a broomstick. Assuming the same jogging stance as before, they make the human picture of Harry on a broomstick appear to fly through the air as a mascot in huge eagle wings flies to settle on the end of Harry's broomstick.
Now is time however for the highlight of the show - the Hollywood blockbuster theme song, Jurassic Park. Of course hearing that we all knew a dinosaur would be involved but little did we know we would witness it "running" across the field!
The Ohio State University band then brings the halftime show to a close as they create the shape of two ships - one with the Ohio State University banner over it, while the other shows the Penn State University banner. We see the Buckeye State ship ram into the Penn State ship taking it down as the picture of a pirate skeleton is formed.
Watch this 10-minute half time show, and it won't take long for folks to understand why the Ohio State University band has dubbed themselves the "Best Dammed Band In The Land." We honestly have to agree! Check the video out below and you'll know that's no boast. Simply stating facts.
