Montag and Pratt's latest reality show endeavor isn't televised, however. SpeidiShow is actually a web series that the controversial couples stage through their Twitter accounts. Having made headlines for outrageous antics captured on Hills, Speidi gained a reputation for always delivering a swift dose of shock and awe.

"The future of reality entertainment is not on TV — it's on social media," Pratt told In Touch. "Netprov takes social media and turns it into Second City." While some critics have called Montag and Pratt's latest endeavor bogus, the reality star who infamously had 10 plastic surgeries in one day promised that it's legit

"It's not a prank. It's a game. We hope our fans will play with us," Montag said of SpeidiShow. "[It's] like one of those murder mystery parties, except on Twitter and without the dead body." Lauren Conrad's former best friend explained that the inspiration for her and Pratt's reality show reinvention came from live tweeting during their Celebrity Big Brother stint.

"Of course, we could use Twitter just like everyone else, say a bunch of obnoxious things — been there, done that," Pratt said. "It's time to shake things up a bit."

And it's been a lively day for The Hills cast, indeed. Lauren Conrad announced her engagement to William Tell, sharing a photo of the gorgeous diamond ring on Instagram. Yet, her fairy tale was quickly shattered when her ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler announced that he had married girlfriend Ashley Slack the same weekend. "I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend," Conrad wrote on her personal blog. "I am beyond thrilled! Get ready for lots more wedding content here on LaurenConrad.com as we begin the planning process," Conrad quipped.

The reality star turned fashion designer infamously turned down a trip to Paris with Teen Vogue to move on with then-boyfriend Wahler. The relationship was undoubtedly difficult for the young reality star to cope with. However, Conrad seems happier than ever with Tell, as does Wahler with his blushing bride.
