Are Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher about to get engaged? If the former co-stars do put a ring on it, the Hollywood couple could soon move to Chicago to lay down roots.
It's no secret that Kunis and Kutcher are fans of the Windy City, frequently rooting for the Chicago Bears football team. And the actress certainly feels living in a laid-back city would have its perks. "There are no paparazzi there," Kunis said. "But you get the city. You get New York with a Midwestern vibe."
Kunis went on to explain that it's the easy-going nature of Chicagoans that sets the city apart from more bustling cities like NYC. "You get New York with a Midwestern vibe," the actress explained. "So you have, like, the downtown aspect of Manhattan but with the city people being very welcoming and warm, very Midwestern, like blue-collar folk. And no paparazzi! They just don't exist, they're just not there," Kunis said.
Kunis said not having to hide from photographers is a huge relief, explaining that always being on the defense in Chicago is refreshing. "I can walk out of my house, out of my apartment building without keeping my head down, which is what I'm so used to doing," Kutcher's girlfriend said. Her pension for privacy is shared by her beau, who has become increasingly reclusive since splitting from Demi Moore.
"You know, I've learned the hard way that there a lot of things in your life that really benefit from being private. And relationships are one of them," Kutcher said. "I am going to do everything in my power to have this relationship [with Mila Kunis] be private." And privacy is clearly a recipe for success when it comes to Kutcher and Kunis' relationship considering the actor is already preparing to propose!
"He knows what they have is amazing and special," a source told People. "He's been thinking about proposing for a long time." Despite Kutcher's plans to marry his That '70s Show co-star, they've been unable to tie the knot because he's still legally tied to his ex-wife. "Ashton is set on proposing [to Mila]. He wants to marry her and is so annoyed that there is still the hold up with the divorce."
