New details have emerged after Kris Jenner and Bruce Jenner's bombshell separations suggesting that the former Olympian may have been cheating on the talk show host with his ex-wife, Linda Thompson.
Fans of Keeping Up With The Kardashians have been shocked by Kris and Bruce's separation announcement, but new reports have revealed that it may have been caused by an affair. Bruce was allegedly spending increasing time with Linda Thompson, whom he divorced in 1984, in the months before the reality couple called it quits.
"Bruce has been spending a lot of time with Linda and the boys in Malibu over the last few months," an insider told Radar Online. Bruce shares four children, including son Brody Jenner who has more frequently appeared on the current season of KUWTK. Bruce has struck such a close kinship with Linda as of late because he feels she understands him in a way that his ex, Kris, never could.
"Linda has lived in Malibu for decades and leads a very normal life, away from the spotlight — the opposite of the Kardashians and Jenners," the source said. That's not to say that the blonde bombshell doesn't have ample opportunities, however. "She has been offered roles on various reality shows over the years, but primarily turned it all down. It's just not something she is interested in," the source added.
Bruce and Linda's rekindling wasn't well-received by Kardashian family matriarch, Kris, and the reality star has reportedly been fuming with jealousy. "Linda is not only drop dead gorgeous, but she is one of the kindest people on the planet," the source explained. "It's not sitting well with Kris that Bruce has been spending time with Linda ... Bruce has always had a special place in his heart for Linda and admires what an amazing mother she is to their sons."
While Kris may be insanely jealous of Bruce's relationship with his ex-wife, the couple has put on a show of solidarity in public and insist they aren't getting divorced. "Kris is happy, I'm happy. Nobody is filing for divorce," Bruce told People on Wednesday. "Kris has her own place, and I have my own place. There's no animosity. Everything is good," Bruce explained. "I'm doing great."
Kris' husband of 22 years also slammed rumors that he was romancing his ex-wife, explaining that he's too busy to date. "We're not going there. I have my family, I have my kids. All my time is filled," Bruce said.
