Liam Hemsworth and Miley Cyrus have both been in NYC lately, but it isn't Cyrus that Hemsworth is being seen with around town. Hemsworth has been reportedly hooking up with Las Vegas gal pal Eiza Gonzalez again! The two were seen canoodling at the Bowery Hotel last week.

"They were holding hands and walking into the hotel. He whispered something in her ear and she laughed. It was cute," an eyewitness told HollywoodLife. The couple was seen in the morning together around 1:30 a.m. at the swanky hotel. The two were first seen together right before Cyrus announced that she had in fact split with fiancé Hemsworth.

"She knows Liam has been seeing Eiza and it's been hard for her," a source told People at the time. "She can't believe he moved on so fast and so publicly." Cyrus and Hemsworth had been having issues for months, including her image makeover and love of partying. "Liam is a serious actor with a growing career, whereas Miley has just turned into a joke," an insider said. "Liam really does care about Miley, but her racy new look and sort of ghetto attitude isn't exactly what he signed up for."

Despite the break-up, Cyrus seems to be moving forward with her life. Today, the "Wrecking Ball" singer tweeted "Happiest girl in the world" as she's preparing to host and perform on Saturday Night Live this weekend. Cyrus also just released the live stream of her upcoming album Bangerz on iTunes. Although reviews were initially so-so, the album is now gaining heat and praise from critics.

Entertainment Weekly gave the album an A-. "It's also utterly fresh, a pop blitz from a hip-hop blueprint, and proof that Miley won't settle for just shocking us," the magazine wrote in their review. Another supporter that Cyrus has on her side is producer Pharell Williams. "I'm telling you, the world thinks they know this girl but my thing to you is, don't be fooled," Williams said in Cyrus' new MTV special airing this week. "So when people are going, 'Why is she twerking? Why is she doing this?' Because she is a byproduct of America."

We'll have to wait and see what's next — and if Hemsworth gets himself involved with the twerk queen again.
