Monday night's episode of Dancing With The Stars showed the moment when Peta Murgatroyd met the PLL hunk. The dancer asked Daugherty if he was single, which he said he was. Murgatroyd then replied that she was single, as well. Indeed, Peta Murgatroyd broke up with fellow DWTS pro Maksim Chmerkovskiy in February.
This rehearsal clip fueled rumors that the two are dating. Daugherty did not exactly deny this speculation in an interview with Ryan Seacrest on Monday. "Peta and I definitely have no lack of chemistry," the actor said. "We have a lot of fun around each other and a lot of our dances we are going to be doing are very, very sexy."
The DWTS judges clearly noticed the duo's chemistry, as well. The pair scored a 22 out of 30 for its first dance of Season 17, putting them in the middle of the pack.

But despite the solid scores, neither Daugherty nor Murgatryod believes they are the couple to beat on this season of Dancing with the Stars. Daugherty told People he is "watching out for" High School Musical alum Corbin Bleu, while Murgatroyd pegged Glee star Amber Riley as an early favorite. Riley topped the Week 1 leaderboard with 27 points, while Bleu tied for second with 24.
Daugherty and Murgatroyd are not the first Dancing with the Stars partners to be linked romantically. In fact, it seems these rumors pop up nearly every season. Last year, Maksim's brother, Val Chmerkovskiy, was linked to Kelly Monaco, whom he paired with for the All-Star season. The duo insisted that they were just friends, however.
But some DWTS relationships did blossom after the show. Professional Mark Ballas and Cheetah Girl Sabrina Bryan were shockingly booted early in Season 5, but the two continued dating for several months until their busy schedules forced them to break up.
