Prince Harry and Cressida Bonas are officially a couple according to the latest cover of high society magazine Tatler, and the royal may be gearing up to propose to his gorgeous girlfriend.
Cressida Bonas, long rumored to be dating Prince Harry, has made her relationship official by posing on the cover of the magazine with an accompanying headline declaring "Harry Loves Cressy." Given the fact that Middleton dated Prince William for eight years before being chosen for her own 2011 cover, the move certainly indicates that Cressida and Harry's romance is getting serious.
In fact, according to some sources, Prince Harry may have already proposed to the blonde beauty, and certainly has the plans in place nonetheless. "It's only a matter of time before Harry makes it official," a source said. "They've discussed it at length together and with their families. Some of their friends reckon they might already be engaged, but are waiting for a while to go public," the insider added.
Prince Harry and Cressida have already been playing house together, having asked the 24-year-old dancer to move into Kensington Palace recently. Harry is sparing no detail when it comes to making sure Cressida is fit to be a princess, and has gone to great lengths to convince her to tie the knot. "Harry has done everything to assure Cressida that she could cope."
"Living at Kensington Palace with Harry has helped," the insider explained. "Harry loves Cressida and wants to settle down with her, so he's been preparing her for royal life in private. She's met his family and [his father] Prince Charles knows of their plans," the source added. Another royal insider explained that Harry finally decided to settle down with Cressy when she passed the tests of his friends and family.
"Cressida is really smart, very naturally pretty and just a really cool girl to hang out with," a source told E! News. "Cressida is someone he knows he can trust as she is already in his circle. She's already passed the test of being discreet." If and when Prince Harry and Cressida do decide to marry, it will likely be another modern royal relationship similar to the one his brother William has with Kate Middleton.
"Cressida loves what she does and Harry has assured her she can continue with her career," the insider explained. "He has told her that if his sister-in-law, the Duchess of Cambridge, can be happy as a royal, so could she."
