Eminem is back after releasing his Beastie Boys inspired single, "Berzerk," and now it seems that he has taken aim at Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, Khloe Kardashian.
The Detroit-raised rapper, also known as Marshal Mathers, has always been known to come up with witty lyrics in order to insult some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, and in his new song from the upcoming album, MMLP2, he has let it be known what he thinks of Kardashian.
"They say that love is as powerful as cough syrup and Styrofoam. All I know is I fell asleep and woke up in that Monte Carlo with the ugly Kardashian," Eminem, 40, raps on the track.
Eminem then continues by calling out Kardashian's troubled NBA husband, Lamar Odom, saying, "Lamar O, sorry, we done both set the bar low."
Of the song, 92.3 Now said that, "It's no accident that "Berzerk" sounds like a Beastie Boys song. Produced by original Beasties collaborator Rick Rubin and sampling the "Fight For Your Right (To Party)," it's a direct homage that has Eminem playing the part of the group's long lost fourth member.
"And although the connection isn't quite as overt, the massive drums and jolts of guitar on "Survival" could easily pass as a modern tweak on the crashing beats of Licensed To Ill," they continued. "Since he's out of step with rap's current trends anyway ("Berzerk" even takes a shot at Future, one of the genre's biggest hit-makers at the moment), it makes sense for Eminem to take on a throwback sound."
Unfortunately for Kardashian, her biggest issues do not lie with what Eminem is saying about her in his new single. The starlet is believed to be struggling with a drug-addicted Odom, who was arrested on DUI charges on Friday.
According to police reports, Odom was showing "objective signs of intoxication and was unable to perform field sobriety tests as explained and demonstrated."
