It was only a matter of time before Brandi Glanville reacted to news that ex-husband Eddie Cibrian and new wife LeAnn Rimes were starring in their own reality show, and the feud between the blonde beauties has been reignited on Twitter.
Brandi took to Twitter on Friday with a message that implied she had been asked to appear on LeAnn and Eddie's new VH1 reality show. "I am laughing sooooo hard at the offer that just came into my agent for me!!" Brandi wrote. Not one for remaining tight-lipped, the Real Houswives of Beverly Hills star delivered her response to the apparent request on her social media account. "NOT GONNA DO IT!!!! OMG OMG," Brandi exclaimed.
Yet LeAnn quickly responded to Brandi's Twitter message, and made it clear that the Real Housewife wasn't the only one laughing. "I'm crying from laughing so hard! Thank god for some nonsense on a sick day. I so needed a good laugh," LeAnn rebutted. While Brandi and LeAnn's infamous Twitter fights usually end in a war of words, it seems that this time it was the singer who was telling the truth.
In fact, according to Radar Online, Brandi's agent is the one who approached producers about her frenemy's show, but she tried to turn the tables after her offer was declined. "Brandi's agent saw one of the producers of LeAnn and Eddie's show at an event recently and approached him about Brandi being on the show," a source said. "Of course, it's not what LeAnn or Eddie want to do at all."
While it comes as little surprise that Eddie and LeAnn passed on co-starring with Brandi, the housewife was apparently furious that her proposed cameo was rejected. "They never responded to her formal approach. Not content, [Brandi's] agent contacted VH1 a few days ago asking for $25,000 a show without ever being solicited for it," the insider said. To make matters worse, Brandi is convinced that she would be an asset to the show, which has made her all the more bitter.
"She can't stand that Eddie and LeAnn haven't responded, let alone have no interest in her being on their show. I mean, why would they ever in a million years have her on their show?" the source said. "[Brandi] thinks she's some big draw. It's crazy!"
