Is Laura Bell Bundy replacing Selma Blair on Charlie Sheen's FX show, Anger Management? The FX comedy just hired Bundy for the upcoming season of the hit show. According to TV Guide, Bundy will play Dr. Jordan Denby, who is Charlie's new sex study research partner.
"A brilliant psychologist, Jordan's recent divorce, affection for alcohol and unpredictable mood swings cause for plenty of new twists and turns for Charlie's personal and professional lives," TV Guide writes. Bundy will replace Selma Blair who was fired from Anger Management a few months ago.
In June, Blair reportedly complained about Sheen's behavior on Anger Management. Blair allegedly told Anger Management's higher-ups that Sheen "was a menace to work with" and that he was late all the time and had a "shoddy work ethic." When Sheen found out about Blair's confession, the former Two and Half Men lead, as the "star of the show," wasn't happy.
Sheen subsequently told FX executives that if Blair came back to work, he would walk from the show. There were rumors Sheen wanted his Two and Half Men replacement, Ashton Kutcher's girlfriend, Mila Kunis, to step in for Blair.
We assume Sheen is happy with the Bundy hire! Bundy tweeted, "I am so excited to announce I have joined the cast of #AngerManagement alongside @charliesheen as Dr. Jordan Denby!!" Bundy previously played the part of Elle Woods in Legally Blonde on Broadway. Bundy also guest starred on How I Met Your Mother and Hart of Dixie. The Anger Management acquisition also just signed with Big Machine Records and will be releasing her first country single on August 19.
Bundy joins another new hire, Brian Austin Green for the next season. Green is the boyfriend to Jen (Shawnee Smith), Charlie's ex-wife on the FX show. The Hollywood Reporter wrote that Green will be the "be the new foil to Sheen's Charlie." Bundy is supposed to start working on the show this week, no word if Green will, as well.
