Are Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods headed to the altar? Vonn tweeted an adorable message to her golfer boyfriend this weekend calling Woods the greatest of all time! After Woods won (finally) at the 79th PGA Tour title at the World Golf Championships-Bridgestone Invitational, Vonn tweeted her accolades for her BF.
"So proud!!!! #79 #GOAT" Vonn tweeted with "GOAT" meaning "greatest of all time." Despite Vonn's constant support and sometimes appearances at Woods' tournaments, the Olympic skier has admitted it's not always easy being in the spotlight with her BF.
"I can be normal by myself; no one notices me," Vonn candidly said. "But wherever he's around, we're living in a fishbowl. I didn't quite know what I was getting myself into. It's weird. But it's just something I have to deal with. He has his job, and I have mine. I just have to get used to it."
"I'm very happy. Things are great" Vonn had said adding their relationship is definitely "worth it" to her. "I'm at a golf tournament, aren't I?" Vonn remarked laughing. "When was I ever at golf tournaments before? I kind of like him; can you tell?"
Vonn and Woods announced the relationship through Facebook earlier this year. "This season has been great so far and I'm happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral. Something nice that's happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn," Woods wrote on his Facebook page. "Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes."
The two made their first public appearance as a couple together at the 2013 Met Gala in NYC. "It's weird," Vonn said about the constant press about her love life. "I'm used to it in the ski world, but not in my personal life. So, it's been difficult and interesting. I mean, it's weird when people are taking pictures of you when you don't know it. It's a little bit, a lot, intrusive."
"We're dealing with it and we're happy and that's all that matters," Vonn said. They seem to be dealing with everything very well!
