Keeping Up with the Kardashians is the reality show largely responsible for catapulting sisters Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian into fame and fortune, but new rumors that the last season will air in 2015 have left fans wondering what America's favorite family will do after the cameras are off.

"It has been the biggest reality franchise of all-time. Both Kim and Kris want to make sure they end on a high note, leaving fans wanting more, rather than try and stretch the show on for another few seasons and witch it die a death," a family insider revealed. According to reports, the Kardashian clan signed a $40 million three-year deal recently, but when it expires in 2015 they plan to pull the plug on the E! reality show.

"They have all made so much money that they never need to work again," the source added. "They want a break from the cameras. That shouldn't be too surprising. After all, all the great shows eventually end, just look at Friends, Oprah and Seinfield," the family friend explained. While Keeping Up with the Kardashians has experienced a different type of success than the aforementioned Emmy award-winning sitcoms, it has proven to be television gold, and has created a devout fan following that will ensure the family continues to enjoy success.

"They are now moving on in their lives. Exploring new options and opportunities. Kim wants to be with her daughter and Kanye," the insider said. Kardashian, who had baby North just weeks ago in June, is apparently obsessed with motherhood and wants to shelter her daughter from the paparazzi. Yet, while Kardashian and Kanye West have made a concerted effort to hide North from prying eyes, they make an exception for personal pictures.

"They're really enjoying this private time together," a source said of Kardashian, West and baby North. "[Kanye] loves taking pictures and videos of Kim and the baby. He's making memories of his fresh new family. They're in the moment and want every minute of it to themselves!" the insider explained. And while Kardashian's newfound philosophy regarding privacy is refreshing, the same can't be said of mom Kris Jenner, who is furiously promoting her new self-titled talk show.

"Kris wants to focus on being a talk show host and maybe start producing movies," the source said. "She's telling everyone that one day she will have an Oscar," the source claimed.
