Nina Agdal is reacting (publicly!) to Adam Levine's surprise engagement. Levine surprised fans when news went viral that he was engaged to Victoria's Secret model and ex-girlfriend Behati Prinsloo, especially since he was supposedly dating Agdal! So what was the Aerie model's reaction and how is Agdal coping?
Well, good news is that Agdal is apparently fine! "Nina is doing fine," a source told E! News about Agdal's state of mind. "But it's hard to believe he went from not wanting to get married at all to a straight-up proposal." We concur! Especially because it seems like Levine's was quite the proposal.
"Adam Levine and his girlfriend Behati Prinsloo are excited to announce they are engaged to be married," a rep for Levine told People. "The couple recently reunited and Adam proposed this weekend in Los Angeles."
"I am so happy and excited and still can't believe it's true!" Prinsloo told ET Canada about her engagement to Levine. "It was a one-knee thing! It was serious, it was very old school!" Don't worry though the couple isn't planning anything just yet. Prinsloo revealed the couple is "just celebrating with our friends and family at the moment."
It sounds sweet for Prinsloo, but we wouldn't blame Agdal for being a little, well, shocked about the whole thing. The Aerie model and European Wax Center spokesperson seems to be taking the whole thing in stride tweeting, "Life is good :) Venice Beach!" with a photo of her at the beach (looking amazing!). Agdal also tweeted she was on her way to Miami. "Bye LA! It was real. Next stop: Miami! Thanks for beautiful makeup and hair"
"The Nina thing was not that serious and was not going to last," a Levine source told Us Weekly. "After Adam broke up with Behati, he couldn't stop thinking about her. He realized he really loved her and wanted to be with her." Although, it must be tough for Agdal, we bet the 21-year-old stunner won't have trouble finding a new rocker beau in no time especially since she told Cosmopolitan, "I feel better wearing a bathing suit than I do wearing clothes."
