Ralph Macchio is still looking hot at age 51! The Karate Kid star supported his actress daughter at the film premiere for her debut flick, Girl Most Likely. The 21-year-old Julia has a small role in Girl Most Likely, but said it was an unbelievable experience for her. Meanwhile, those in attendance were amazed at how hot Macchio still looked nearly 30 years after The Karate Kid first hit theaters.
Girl Most Likely also features Kristen Wiig, Darron Criss and Matt Gillon. Julia plays a clubgoer in the movie and Macchio said that she earned her role without his help. "I didn't want any help from him. It was so much fun," said Julia. "Kristen [Wiig] is so nice and everyone was so nice. I had one scene, but it was a great experience."
Both Macchio and Julia took to Twitter at the premiere of Girl Most Likely to plug her role in the film. "#GirlMostLikely premiere," tweeted Macchio. "Big night for @JayMacch - Great job, my girl. Congrats!!" Julia tweeted, "#GirlMostLikely premiere tonight!!!! Another big night in NYC with the family. Most incredible and rewarding night. May it be the first of many like this to come!"
Macchio appeared in the first three installments of The Karate Kid franchise and although he is best known for that role, he has been working steadily ever since. He starred in the Oscar-winning 1992 comedy My Cousin Vinny and appeared on 11 episodes of Ugly Betty from 2008-2009. Most recently, he was a fourth-place finisher on Dancing with the Stars in 2011 and appeared last April in an episode of CBS sitcom How I Met Your Mother.
Julia is next set to star in the short film Across Grace Alley, where she will play the role of a voice student. The film was directed by Macchio. She was in talks along with Macchio to star in a reality show together back in 2009, but those negotiations fell through. "As far as having an argument over French toast in the morning and what kind of dog we should get, I think there are smarter ideas and I'm investigating those," he said at the time.
