The racism scandal on Big Brother 15 has taken another turn. Last night on the live feeds, several of the white contestants got into a clash with Candice Stewart, who is African-American.

The fight began when the white Aaryn Gries, who has already been fired from her modeling job for racist remarks she made in the house, flipped over Stewart's mattress. Gries then began mocking Stewart, saying "Whatchu gon do gurrl, and "Class girl? Where's yo class?" in a mockery of African-American dialect.

Eventually, Stewart decided she had enough and tried to defend herself. Another white houseguest, GinaMarie Zimmerman, then got up and started yelling in Stewart's face. At one point, Zimmerman asked, "You want the black to come out?" She has also been fired from her day job as a result of racist remarks she made on Big Brother.

Another black houseguest, Howard Overby, had been watching the proceedings. He then literally picked up Stewart and carried her out of the room. Afterwards, he warned his friend to stay away from the racists. Overby feared that if they continued to taunt Stewart, he and his large muscles would do something he would regret.

This Big Brother racism fight came as Thursday's episode of the series further addressed the scandal that has made national headlines. The series was criticized last week for not airing many of the racist, homophobic and sexist remarks made by several houseguests. However, once Gries was named the Head of Household earlier this week, producers showed a brief montage of the remarks.

On Thursday host Julie Chen asked Gries if she ever forgets the cameras are running. Gries then noted that she is an open person who does not hide her true feelings. The racist remarks were not specifically mentioned in this conversation.

Also during the live eviction, a clip aired of white contestant Amanda Zuckerman telling Gries that some of the latter's remarks could be conceived as racist. Gries then called her fellow houseguests' response "immature," noting that they had made fun of her and called her "Barbie." Gries also reportedly denied making any racist comments, though this part of the scene was edited out of the show.
