Britney Spears, who is currently preparing for her upcoming Las Vegas residency slated to kick off this fall, can thank Tony Martinez for teaching her the tricks to a fame-worthy figure. "I'm doing 90 minutes of yoga twice a week in addition to a lot of cardio...hour-long sessions three times a week with my trainer, Tony Martinez," Spears told Shape. "The [Vegas] performances won't be simple - they'll be a massive party from start to finish. And to pull this off, I have to be in top condition and running at full speed," Spears explained. Britney Spears' workout plan has been tailored to the pop icon by Tony Martinez. Martinez, whose celebrity-studded client list includes names like Janet Jackson, Pink, and The Jonas Brothers, recently opened up to ABC News about Spears' sought-after workout regimen. "I do compound movements...two exercises at the same time," the top celebrity trainer and diet specialist told the network. Spears' Martinez-made fitness plan includes a mix of treadmill exercises, ab workouts and various movements pertaining to football and basketball. Specifically, Martinez revealed, following Britney Spears' "four B's" workout plan will yield maximum results. It goes as follows:

1. Do a basketball-like jump shot against the wall 20 times

2. Walk backwards on a treadmill at 2 mph for 1 minute, then turn and walk forward for the same amount of time

3. Balance on one leg while doing medicine ball slams with one arm

4. Bicycle and rotate on a floor mat 20 times

Each of the above exercises should be 20 seconds long with a 10-second respite in between. For optimum results from Britney Spears' workout plan, Martinez recommends doing a minimum of three sets for each exercise.

But Britney Spears' workout wouldn't be complete without a healthy diet to complement her athletic endeavors. According to Martinez, Spears consumes small meals five times a day. Her favorite dish, her workout trainer revealed, is chicken salad with balsamic dressing. In addition to Martinez's diet and exercise advice, the mom of two also credited Nutrisystem - a weight loss program that offers portion-controlled meals in microwave pouches - with bringing her twenty-something body back. Nonetheless, watching her weight is still a challenge for the pop sensation. "Dieting is tough...because my specialties are spaghetti, brownies and chocolate chip cookies," Spears told Shape magazine.
