Chris Brown isn't a stranger when it comes to confrontations. In fact we think it's safe to dub him a master of them, especially after his latest stunt where he nearly attacked a woman he hit in a car accident. Yep, it's been almost four years since Brown's last known assault when he brutally beat Rihanna in a vehicle. And after that horrific incident occurred the 24-year-old singer has claimed he had changed his ways. Or at least that's what he told Matt Lauer on the Today Show this past April.
"I think it is just proving myself once again and me being a man. Knowing what I did was wrong and never doing it again," Brown told Lauer adding that he attended 52 weeks of counseling for domestic violence. According to TMZ the only thing Brown has changed over the past four years is his relationship status. After breaking up with Rihanna for Karrueche Tran, the new Hollywood couple was seen out and about together on various occasions. One of those excursions was when Brown got into an accident with Olga Gure-Kovalenko on May 21 in the San Fernando Valley.
Reports suggest that Brown reportedly exploded with fury after she snapped a photo of him after the accident. No, Kovalenko wasn't a paparazzo. Actually, she had no idea who Brown was until after the fact. The victim was simply trying to avoid being given fraudulent information from the man who rear-ended her car.
Kovalenko took the picture for evidence when she felt that the couple was going to flee the scene of the crime. TMZ said that when Kovalenko asked for Brown's driver licenses Tran stepped in and handed over hers claiming that Brown had no involvement seeing that it was her car that rear ended the other. However, Kovalenko insisted that she also have Brown's information, which is when things got sour.
According to the victim Brown tried to grab her camera and started to scream obscenities. "You are a b*tch! Who do you think you are, b*tch? Do you think if you driving Mercedes so got money, bitch?" Brown continued. "Do you think I am just a black n***er?" Kovalenko ended her description of the hit-and-run scene by insisting Brown had bragged about how much money he owned before offering up a false registration. The singer then "slammed" his door and drove away.
ABC News reports that Brown has been charged with misdemeanor hit-and-run and driving without a valid license. If the star is convicted he could find himself behind bars for up to a year.
