The wedding reportedly took place at St. Francis in Castle Rock, Colo.
The Denver Broncos wide receiver apparently first saw his new wife after she sang the national anthem before the team's game versus the New York Jets. That contest is best known for the Broncos' furious last-minute comeback, led by quarterback Tim Tebow.
He was soon introduced to James through a mutual friend, and the couple began dating a short time later. James then announced her engagement to Decker on Twitter last April Fools' Day. She even included photos of the ring to prove that it was not a prank.
Indeed, Decker and his girlfriend have had a major presence on social media over the past few years. Decker even used Twitter to make fun of himself after he seemingly tripped over air and lost out on a potential game-changing touchdown last season.
James, also told a (dirty) Twitter joke about this incident, most notably when a fan questioned whether her now-husband's weak legs came from too much sex.
"What do u expect?" she wrote back. "He has 3 of them."
Decker had a breakout season in 2012 with new Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning. He started all but one regular-season game for Denver, catching 85 balls for 1,064 yards and 13 touchdowns. James, meanwhile, is best known for her self-titled debut album, which reached No. 23 on the Billboard 200 chart.
If you want to see more of Eric Decker and his girlfriend, you are in luck. E! has announced that the couple will star in their own reality series next season called Love and Other Contact Sports: Eric and Jessie.
