Is Chumlee from Pawn Stars dead? The rumors started swirling on the Internet that the fan favorite had died of a marijuana overdose. So what's the truth about Chumlee from Pawn Stars?
Well, Chumlee from Pawn Stars is alive and well! Austin Russell aka Chumlee tweeted, "I am Alive and kicking some times you can't believe the hype." The Internet Chronicle claimed that Chumlee had died Monday night of a marijuana overdose and was found by "Big Hoss" Harrison on Tuesday morning.
The website quoted a Dr. Angstrom H. Troubador who said, "The only possible way he could have died from a marijuana overdose without first clogging his lungs with soot is through the use of vaporizers. Reportedly, Chumlee had rigged up to 90 vaporizers into one tube and had a team of groupies constantly loading them up with the stickiest and most potent of marijuana available on the market."
Now, while it is technically possible to overdose, Brown University says that chance is very slim. "It is virtually impossible to overdose from marijuana, which sets it apart from most drugs." Three days ago, MSN reported that two weeks after the "death" of Chumlee from Pawn Stars, the reality TV star participated in a Golden Nugget casino event in Las Vegas. There were even photos of Chumlee from the event with Rick Harrison and Richard "Old Man" Harrison. The Internet Chronicle has also written fake death stories about Lil Wayne and Selena Gomez.
Chumlee seemed to have a good sense of humor about "dying." The Pawn Stars regular tweeted, "RIP Austin 'chumlee' Russell was a great man he will be missed."
"#not #dead #chumlee #magic #howto #selfie" Chumlee continued attaching a Vine showing the Pawn Stars star alive and well. Chumlee is an employee of the World Famous Gold & Silver Pawn Shop, which Pawn Stars chronicles on History Channel. The show debuted in July 2009.
