Ringo Starr is set to release unseen Beatles photos very soon. So where and when can fans see the new stunning behind-the-scenes Beatles photos? Ringo is set to release a new e-book called Photograph on Apple's iBookstore on June 12.
Ringo's unseen Beatles photos will also coincide with a new Grammy Museum exhibit on the famous drummer called "Ringo: Peace & Love." A limited edition hand-bound version of Ringo's Beatles photo book will be available in December.
Ringo's unseen Beatles photos will include pictures from the icon's childhood in Liverpool, England all the way up to his road to fame as part of The Beatles with fellow legends Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison. These unseen photos include images from the group's first US tour, their famous trip to India and the group's final weeks together.
"These are shots that no one else could have," Ringo said in a statement about the unseen Beatles photos. Other highlights from the unseen Beatles photos set to be released are behind-the-scenes candid photos of the mega group living their normal lives. Also, Ringo's photography from their world travels in their heyday.
Ringo said that the unseen photos "portray four lads from Liverpool, trying to live normal lives amidst the frenzy that surrounded them." Ringo said the idea was sparked when he went through over 100 photos which the drummer found "in boxes we brought home after my mother died. We thought, 'I wonder what she's got!'" Ringo said to People.
Ringo has also recorded videos with his commentary to accompany the new photos book. The Independent reports that readers will be able to zoom in on the unseen photos and hear Ringo narrate the tales behind the pictures.
