Jennifer Lopez is moving back to New York, but it won't be her Bronx hometown. Instead, J.Lo bought a mansion on Long Island for $10 million with eight bedrooms and seven bathrooms. She's apparently been looking for a house in the Hamptons for a while now.

Lopez reportedly likes the 8,659-square-foot mansion because it's in such a private, secluded area in the town of Water Mill, near Mecox Bay. She, her twins, and her boyfriend Caspar Smart visited the mansion several times before she decided to fork over $10 million.

Sources also said that she's planning to build a guest house for "visiting family, staff, or for more or her entourage." That's definitely one thing we know she's got a lot of! When it was on the market, Lopez's new mansion was listed as the "perfect summer retreat with every amenity."

She was also looking at another house down the street, but another buyer snapped it up for $15 million last year. "This is a better deal," an insider said. "It's a better property and it is more private. It's an amazing, great buy." Wait a minute, is Jennifer Lopez going budget?

Nope! She could have easily afforded the more expensive place—Forbes listed her #1 on the Celebrity 100 for earing $52 million last year. In addition to the spacious living quarters, the mansion also has a sauna, a pool, and a home theater.

The Long Island mansion will be the fourth house Jennifer Lopez currently owns; she also has two in Glen Head, New York, as well as the California 12-bedroom mansion she bought with ex-husband Marc Anthony. She sure has come a long way from Jenny from the Block!
