While enjoying a beautiful day in New York City with her two girls, actress Jessica Alba had a moment of sheer embarrassment when she revealed more than she intended to.

Alba was seen enjoying at the park with her two daughters Monday, May 6 in New York City when she felt a little too warm and decided to take off the top most layer of her clothing. However, unfortunately for this mother, while taking off her light blue jacket her black tank top shifted to reveal her left breast under a sheer black bra.

However, the 32-year-old actress and entrepreneur managed to cover up well for that night's Met Gala held at the Metropolitan museum in New York City. Alba dressed in a Tory Burch black leather dress with peek a boo cut outs around the bust and midriff areas keeping in tune with the evening's theme of "Punk: Chaos to Couture."

She kept her makeup minimal and tied up her brown tresses in a high tight bun. She sported black nails and accessorized her fingers with a pair of black rings. She also carried a spike black clutch adding to her punk look for the night.

The next morning Alba braved her post-party tiredness and made an appearance on "The Today Show" where she admitted that she was still "a little rough around the edges." She wore a brown printed dress under a bright yellow jacket as she entered the talk show studios.

She spoke to Matt Lauer about her new book Honest Life, which tells others her guide for eliminating toxic chemicals from her family's everyday lives, wrote The Daily Mail.

On being asked what she would like to do on the upcoming Mother's Day, Alba said, "I'd like to sleep in a little bit, that would be nice. And just spending the day with my girls, I mean every day feels like Mother's Day, to be honest."
