Jennifer Aniston, 44, and Justin Theroux, 41, have delayed their wedding plans, MailOnline reports. The pair, who got engaged in August 2012, have put their intended spring nuptials on hold due to an alleged disagreement over the size of the wedding ceremony. But given Aniston’s recent cupping therapy and professed desire to become pregnant, we’re wondering whether the former Friends star is putting her baby dreams before her big day.
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux, who kindled their romance on the set of Wanderlust, got engaged in August 2012. After about a year of dating, screenwriting star Justin Theroux popped the question during his 41st birthday dinner at an NYC restaurant. Aniston was soon seen sporting a rock the size of a New York City apartment, which allegedly put Theroux back a cool $500,000. Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux's engagement took place just three months after Aniston's ex-husband, Brad Pitt, announced his engagement to Angelina Jolie. Following their engagement, the couple's wedding date was rumored to be on the immediate horizon.
Now, Jennifer Aniston and fiancé Justin Theroux have hit a roadblock on their road to the altar. According to MailOnline’s exclusive report, Aniston and Theroux have postponed their wedding plans until later this summer. The wedding delay is allegedly due to Aniston’s insistence on a big bash, which has not been well-received by Theroux, who would much rather keep the ceremony intimate. An Aniston insider confirms: “Jen [Aniston] wants something bigger with all their friends, Justin [Theroux] would just like something a bit more intimate.” The couple, who were reportedly ready to tie the knot next month, have also delayed their wedding due to Aniston’s aversion to wedding planning. When asked about her upcoming nuptials at the premiere of her latest movie, Call Me Crazy: A Five Film, Aniston said, “[It’s] something that will probably come together at the last minute….[Too much planning] might make me crazy!.” Aniston also admitted that she doesn’t even have a wedding dress picked out yet.
But Jennifer Aniston’s wedding delay may also have something to do with the Wanderlust star’s determination to become pregnant. Aniston, who has never hidden her hopes of having a baby, seems to be focusing on her fertility issues more than her upcoming wedding. Indeed, Justin Theroux’s fiancée has been taking a proactive approach to becoming pregnant, as evinced by her recent red carpet appearance for Call Me Crazy: A Five Film. Aniston, who arrived at the premiere decked out in Dior, also exhibited several foundation-covered cupping marks on her bare back. The Chinese practice of cupping, which is typically used to improve circulation and reduce anxiety, can also be used, in combination with acupuncture, to heighten fertility. According to recent reports, Aniston has resorted to cupping therapy as a means of boosting her chances of having a baby. The 44-year-old Jennifer Aniston was allegedly turned on to cupping treatments by pal Gwyneth Paltrow, who told Aniston that the alternative form of Chinese medicine might help her fertility issues. And, so far, Aniston is loving it.
Jennifer Aniston’s pregnancy focus is fine with fiancé Justin Theroux. According to Grazia magazine, Theroux is “incredibly supportive and is so excited about becoming a dad, but he’s not pressuring her in any way.” Indeed, it seems both Aniston and Theroux don’t mind a wedding delay if it will help Aniston prepare for a baby. Indeed, the wedding delay, a friend of the couple confirms, is no reflection of Aniston and Theroux’s devotion to one another. “It’s not to do with them as a couple, they’re madly in love,” the source insists. “Every time you see them, they’ve got their arms around each other.”
Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux’s wedding delay, however, won’t last for long. According to the aforementioned friend of the couple, “at this point, we’re expecting the wedding to be at the end of the summer, just before Labor Day Weekend.” Could Aniston also be pregnant by then? Stay tuned.
