The Voice returns tonight for its fourth round of the battle round section of the hit show.

Last night brought out the emotion (as always) and the first pairing of the night provided it right up front.

Usher pitted his singers Vedo and Jessica Childress together to sing Locked out of Heaven by Bruno Mars. Guest mentor Pharell Williams told Childress that the song "made her shine" even though she was nervous about performing. No need to be nervous! Childress won this battle round.

Next Shakira put Luke Edgemon against Monique Abbadie to sing Lady Gaga's You and I. Blake Shelton asked "Where in the hell did Luke come from?"("From heaven," said Adam Levine) so it was no surprise when Team Blake stole Edgemon despite Usher trying to also take him.

"Luke, you put soul into the song and what you did showed me something totally different about you as a performer," Usher said (via People). "You've got a career ahead of you, buddy."

Team Blake for the win. Monique also won, too since Shakira kept her around.

In the last battle of the night, Usher placed Orlando Dixon versus Ryan Innes. Usher had them sing Ain't No Sunshine by Bill Withers. Usher had a really hard decision choosing between the 2 because both were so good. Usher ended up going with Innes, while Adam stole Dixon for his own team.
