Golfer Adam Scott's popularity skyrocketed when he won the Masters Tournament last weekend. While his golfing skills impressed most, women across the globe are more interested in his perfect hands, perfect teeth, perfect hair and his all-together great looks.
Recently it was reported that the makers of ABC's famed show The Bachelor were hoping to rope in this young Australian lad for the latest season of the show and have a group of young women vying for his love.
However, these plans will have to be canceled for now as Scott revealed during an interview with CBS This Morning Wednesday that he is taken. Sorry, ladies, you will have to get a good look at this young athlete from afar.
Gayle King asked Scott how he felt about all the female attention he has been getting since his win. "I was in the office the other day, there was a computer on and it had your picture, it just said Adam Scott's Arms, there were like 5 or 6 women 20s and 30s gathered all around it saying, he's great, he's got great teeth, he's got great hair, he's the world's most eligible bachelor. So when you hear that about yourself, what do you want women to know about you and your availability?" she asked.
To this, the 32-year-old hunky Australian replied: "That's all quite embarrassing really, but no, I am not single at all. I'm very much in a relationship and very happy at the moment."
During his interview, he mentioned his girlfriend's name to be Marie. Larry Brown Sports speculates that Scott has gotten back with his on-off girlfriend Marie Kojzar who was mentioned in a 2008 Sports Illustrated profile about him.
In 2007, Scott gushed about his longtime girlfriend saying: "Yeah, [I'm dating] Marie Kojzar. We've been together four years, a record for me. She's an interior designer, a year younger than me, 23. No, she's 24. I forgot I was 25. I'm getting old."
These speculations might turn out to be true as Scott ended his relationship with tennis player Ana Ivanovic recently.
The news of Scott being in a relationship not only breaks millions of hearts across the globe but will probably also sadden the producers of The Bachelor who were hoping that Scott could be their next leading man.
A source had previously informed E! News, "We are definitely going to pursue [Scott]. So far, no meeting's been set but we're trying. He could be a perfect fit...We're also considering other people Bachelor fans already know."
