On April 15, 2013 a tragic bombing took place a the finish line of the Boston Marathon around 2:45pm leaving 3 now confirmed dead and over 100 injured. Boston Patriot's Day Bombing: How Many Died in 2013 Attack?

The marathon, falling on Patriots Day in the USA, was coming to a close as suddenly bombs were seen exploding into the crowds. Smoke filled the air as debris littered the street of Boston. What was meant to be a day of fun and celebration, a day for Patriot's to gather and enjoy some friendly competition ended in a terrorizing chaotic mess of fear, worry and grief. At this time the death toll in the Boston bombing has risen to three with over 140 injured and more reports continue to trickle in. Meanwhile survivors and government officials alike speculate that the Patriot's Day attack could have very well been a terrorist conspiracy.

Who Is Suspected in The Boston Bombing 2013? Is Mystery Man On The Roof Connected to The Attack?

What else happened in Boston, Monday? Since the time of the bombing, officials from across nation have moved into overdrive, amping up security in case of more possible attacks, as at this point, though President Obama has yet to officially declare this Marathon bombing an act of terror, still, he has vowed that whomever is responsible for what happened in Boston Monday, will "feel the full weight of justice".

So what about this mystery man on the roof in the photo? Could he be a "person of interest" in what happened at Boston April 15, 2013? A picture, which has been making viral rounds on the internet surfaced Monday evening as the Daily Mail and multiple other new sources pointed out a mystery man walking on a roof near the Boston marathon finish line soon after the explosion. Though no one knows what the mystery man was doing on the roof or if he is suspect in the marathon bombing, social media went aflame discussing possible reasons for his presence there.

Who is responsible for what happened at Boston April 15, 2013? At this point one suspect is being held and questioned. The "person of interest" who was injured during the blast was being held at Brigham and Women's Hospital, according to The Boston Globe, though no official arrest has been made in relation to the bombing.

About five minutes before the attack, a man was seen trying to enter a restricted area. The man was wearing a black backpack and hooded sweatshirt. Soon after the attack, investigators detained a Saudi Arabian national who is suspected to have some involvement to the Boston marathon bombings. The 20-year-old man was injured and it is still unclear if he is a victim or a suspect.

What Did Law Enforcement Doing After Boston Marathon Explosions?

Law enforcement officers were actively searching an apartment in the Boston suburb of Revere, Massachusetts Monday night after what happened in Boston. A search warrant was served Monday night related to the Boston bombings but no further details are known at this time.

People who were involved in the Boston Marathon bombing are being asked to stay indoors or in their hotel rooms, avoiding crowds. In the meantime, bomb squads are working their way through the area checking parcels and bags left along the race route. Bombs may have also been hidden in mailboxes or trashcans.

Patriot's Day Conspiracy Theories: GOP Representative Says Ball Bearing in Bombs Could Signify a Terrorist Attack

According to Boston law officials, "no specific intelligence that anything was going to happen" at the race was received though patriots day terrorist conspiracies theories are certainly on the minds of many including REP. Mike McCaul of Texas, House Homeland Security Chairman. According to McCaul,

" It is very reminiscent of the Times Square bombing. And the fact that it's Patriots Day, I think has maybe some significance ... earlier reports that there were ball bearings used in these explosive devices, which is very consistent with IEDs. This is a preferred method and route of choice for the terrorists to kill Americans. 

So again, it's very early stages in the investigation. But if indeed there turn out to be ball bearings, I would consider that a significant factor in terms of this being a sort IED device that's very similar to what the terrorists used overseas in the Middle East."

Texas Congressman Reveals New Details in Boston Bombings

The Associated Press reports, "Pakistani Taliban, which has threatened attacks in the United States because of its support for the Pakistani government, on Tuesday denied any role in the marathon bombings. The group's spokesman, Ahsanullah Ahsan, denied involvement in a telephone call with The Associated Press. He spoke from an undisclosed location."

In his comments regarding the Boston bombing, president Obama had this to say:

"We still don't know who did this or why," Obama said at the White House, adding, "Make no mistake: We will get to the bottom of this."

How Many Bombs Were Found Boston April 15, 2013? Injuries Lead To Amputations

All over the city report of addition bombs are being received while so far 3 confirmed explosions took place with two unexploded bombs were also found and safely detonated by security officials.

As a result of what happened in Boston April 15, 2013, medical care workers and the general public in the Boston area are witnessing first hand the gruesome effects of the bombing as more and more injuries are reported and treated.

"They just kept filling up with more and more casualties," Lisa Davey, a family member of a Boston marathon runner. "Most everybody was conscious. They were very dazed."

As information continues to pour in from the Boston-area hospitals tending the wounded, CNN brings an unsettling report of what was found inside the bombs at the Boston Marathon. As CNN reports, more explosive devices, which were not detonated, were found to be filled with ball bearings increasing the possible damage of the bombs when exploded. The result has been multiple amputations performed on wounded individuals to save their lives, while those more fortunate are having ball bearing extracted from various body parts-mostly the lower limbs.

According to CNN's Erin Burnett, "At least, right now, 10 amputations..."

Many victims of the Boston bombing are also reported with injuries such as broken bones and ruptured eardrums.

"This is something I've never seen in my 25 years here ... this amount of carnage in the civilian population. This is what we expect from war." said Alisdair Conn, chief of emergency services, at Massachusetts General Hospital.

A Boston Marathon explosion is suspected to be a terrorist attack as two large bombings took place on Monday afternoon near the finish line of the 2013 Boston Marathon.

Who Is To Blame In Boston Explosion? Person of Interest in Attack Held By Authorities

The situation is young and so exact details concerning how the Boston Marathon explosions took place, what the cause was and who was involved is unknown but some details are beginning to emerge.

According to FoxNews, authorities are gaurding a person of interest at a locl hospital. The person in question is 20 years old, but at this time it is unknown if the person being held is a suspect or a victim in the Boston explosion which looks like it could be a terrorist attack.

There is some evidence which suggests suggests a foreign terrorist organization or even a home-grown terrorist cell may hold the blame for this attack at the Boston Marathon 2013. However, the number of individuals involved is yet unknown.

Boston Marathon Explosion: How Many Injured, How Many Dead?

So how did the Boston Marathon attack begin? It seems that witness are claiming to have heard two loud bangs which were about half a minute apart, with some saying they saw balls of flames near the Marathon Sports store right at the Boston marathon finish line.

Though reports are scattered concerning how many were injured or if there are any casualties to the Boston Marathon explosions, thus far, it seem explosions near the Boston Marathon finish line have killed at least two and injured at least 23.

Here is what Independent.ie had to say concerning the Boston Marathon attack and if terrorism may be involved:

"It has yet to be confirmed whether or not the explosion is part of a terrorist attack, but dozens of people are known to be injured. The explosions were heard near the finish line in the Fairmount Copley Plaza Hotel. Police have found unexploded devices in the area and are conducting security controlled explosions"

The cause of the Boston explosions has not been determined, but some serious destruction has been reported to some temporary structures at the marathon.

Though plenty of speculation is swirling concerning the cause of the Boston marathon attack, one thing to keep in mind is that the causes are still yet unknown.

Meanwhile the area outside the Marathon Sports store is thick with smoke as debris, rubble, twisted metal and other wreckage is found all around. Marathon officials are working their way through the wreckage in search of bodies or survivors who may be trapped underneath.

According to HollywoodLife,

Lindsey Lohan was one of the first celebs to tweet, sending out the message, "Sending prayers to everyone who was/is at the #bostonmarathon.", with Lil Wayne following closely behind, tweeting, "Prayers for Boston"

 Moments later Two Broke Girls star Kat Dennings posted: "This is crazy. Glued to the TV, so scary. Thoughts and prayers with Boston right now."

What Are Officials Doing After The Boston Marathon Explosion?

At the time the attacks were reported, police deployed across the country in major cities and at national landmarks as the possibility of a terrorist attack being the cause of the Boston Marathon explosions has law enforcement on high alert.

In addition to local authorities being alerted, the White House and President Barack Obama were also made aware of the situation as Obama contacted Boston's mayor to share his condolences for the losses in the Boston Marathon explosions.

Time Magazine reports that Secret Service shut down Pennsylvania Avenue outside the White House, with yellow police tape soon after the Boston explosions took place. Several Secret Service patrol cars surround the area, though at this point the White House was not on lockdown.
