Halle Berry, who recently revealed her second pregnancy to the world, is also in proud possession of one of Hollywood’s hottest bodies. Whether working the waves in a barely-there bikini, or rocking the red carpet in a lace cut-out creation, Halle Berry’s phenomenal figure is certainly not what we would expect from someone who is expecting.
At 46, Halle Berry’s sexy shape is, perhaps, as shocking as the news of her pregnancy. Chatting with CNN’s Alina Cho about her baby bump surprise in a recent sit-down, the X-Men actress admitted that, while she may still look fantastic, the prospects for a second pregnancy always seemed slim. “I thought I was kind of past the point where this could be a reality for me,” she confessed. But Berry’s body, it would seem, knows how to turn back the hands of time. So what’s her secret?

For one, Halle Berry, who is a diabetic, is a big believer in proper nutrition. Always one to keep a careful eye on food labels, Berry fills her body with natural products from Whole Foods. “Products will claim to be good for you, but when you look at the ingredients, they’re loaded with sugar,” she says. Indeed, the actress, who teamed up with Michael Kors to raise funds for the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) this spring, has always heralded healthy living. Now, as a mother-to-be, Berry is even more concerned with eating right – both for her and for her child. “Especially now, being a pregnant woman and already having a child, it’s so important what happens to the baby while they’re in utero,” Berry told CNN.
But it’s not just a balanced diet that accounts for Halle Berry’s breathtaking beach bod. “I work out with Nat Bardonnet three times a week, an hour at a time,” Berry told InStyle magazine. When it comes to her specific workout routine, the former Bond Babe revealed, “I do cardio, very light weights, and exercises that use a lot of my own body weight.” These exercises, Berry underlined, are intended to keep her figure lean and toned.
Halle Berry’s food and fitness-conscious approach has paid off. But it takes more than just a bangin’ body like Berry’s to look fab over 40. It also takes confidence and a certain level of comfort in ones own skin. When it comes to the aging process, then, Berry practices a policy of acceptance. “Don’t stress about your age or fight it,” she advises. “Appreciate the young women who look like you once did, but don’t strive to be like them. You’re moving into a new phase of your life – embrace it. That’s what I hope to do.”
