Shameless' season 3 finale, "Survival of the Fittest," airs this Sunday, and there might be a death in the Gallagher clan. When we last left them, Jimmy was being dragged onto a boat by Estefania's drug lord father.

Is this the end of Fiona's boyfriend? "I mean, I know, but you don't know. I can't tell you, or I will be shot," star Emmy Rossum said on the Z100 Morning Show yesterday.

However, she told critic Michael Ausiello that they shot several things for the finale. "They're not telling us what they're airing. So I'm not really sure how the season ends, to be honest," she said.

"Because Jimmy has been juggling so many plates, plates start to fall, and his past starts to catch up with him," Justin Chatwin, who plays Jimmy, said.

"[You should be] worried about Frank, because we're going to see him take the biggest toll in the finale," Rossum said.

Frank ends up in the hospital after helping Lip celebrate his high school graduation. "You're not dead, but you will be soon if you don't stop drinking," a doctor tells him.

"[Frank] finally has to pay the piper for years of self-abuse; that's really dramatic," actor William H. Macy said. He also revealed that little Carl (Ethan Cutkosky) has to shave off Frank's hair, just like Frank did to convince Carl he had cancer. Of course, Macy and Cutkosky only had one chance to get the take right.

"We cut off my hair in the show and [Ethan] did it. We have a couple of lines and I said 'Run the lines with me,' and he blew the line. I said 'Come on,' and he blew it again. He kept doing it over and over," Macy said. "I finally grabbed him by the collar and I said, 'They're about to shave my head, you will get this f**king line or I will kill you. It's funny how life imitates art!"

Does this mean Frank doesn't just have an alcohol-related problem like liver disease-is it spreading cancer? Cirrhosis can lead to liver cancer; this could be the beginning of the end for the Gallagher patriarch.

What a sneak peak at Sunday's episode below, and be sure to tune in to Showtime on Sunday night for Shameless Season 3, Episode 12, "Survival of the Fittest."
