Alec Baldwin's daughter Ireland is making her modeling debut in a sexy new photo shoot. But does her famous father approve?

Ireland Baldwin, 17, officially signed to IMG Models back in early March and announced the exciting news on her Twitter page: "I'm blessed, happy, and ready to WEEEEERK." By signing to IMG, Ireland joined some of the top ranked models in the world including Tyra Banks and Kate Moss. Ireland also followed in her mother, Kim Basigner's footsteps, as Basinger signed to Ford Models at age 16.

Now in Ireland's first big photo-shoot, the teen model posed in bikinis for the New York Post and answered all their burning questions. The question most notably on the newspapers mind was if her dad, Baldwin, approved of the sexy shoot, especially since he's notoriously had issues with the NY Post.

Back in February, it was reported that Baldwin had yelled racial epithets at a Post photographer.

"You know, he has his own agenda and I have my own," Ireland said about her famous dad and her NY Post sexy photo shoot.

"I think he's very outspoken and he has his opinions, and he's him and I'm me, and I know he's done things that he regrets himself and that he's sorry for, but you know, the past is the past."

Despite their different opinions on the NY Post, Ireland said her dad has taught her about social media (the teen has a big Twitter following).

"My dad is someone who is very involved with social media and is very well known for expressing his opinions in a very loud way . . . he's a funny guy. He's so ballsy. He's taught me well, I guess you could say," Ireland told the newspaper.

Ireland also opened about previous statements she made about "saving herself for marriage" when she was younger. "For a long time, yeah, that's kind of what I believed in," Ireland said. "Now I have a different outlook."

Ireland has been dating serious boyfriend Slater Trout for 7 months after meeting over social media and the meeting at a Starbucks! "It wasn't Catfish style or anything," she said referring to the MTV show.

"[My parents] know he's my best friend and that he's definitely beyond his years," Ireland also said of Trout, 17.

Ireland also seems beyond her years. Baldwin's daughter has an end goal of acting, but said she wants "to do everything the right way."

"I want to work my way up," Ireland said.
