Tiger Woods' barefoot golf shot at the recent Honda Classic tournament is the subject on everyone's lips. The golf champion, who was trailing behind in the game, alleged that he needed to be barefoot with his nine-iron in the water to use an "explosion shot" to get himself back in the game.

Although Tiger Woods' barefoot golf stroke didn't win him the Honda Classic, it makes us wonder: Why did Tiger Woods think going barefoot would save his game?

"It was only half submerged so I could play some sort of explosion shot and get it back in the fairway. I wasn't trying to advance it very far just get it back on the fairway and give myself some sort of wedge shot in there -- which I did and got up and down," Woods told Yahoo! News. "If I didn't get that up‑and‑down, I am looking at a six, three‑over, and all of a sudden I flip it, make par there and birdie the next. Could easily have been three and all of a sudden I'm even."

Tiger Woods' barefoot shot saw him finish the day level with Rory McIlroy and six shots behind Camilo Villegas, who had a flawless round of 64.

Why did Tiger Woods have to go barefoot and save his Honda Classic tournament game? Is the Tiger losing his mojo? There have been several reports of the golf star and ski champion Lindsey Vonn hanging around each other lately.

Tiger Woods has been helping Lindsey Vonn with her rehabilitation after a traumatic incident at the World Alpine Skiing Championships in Austria on Feb. 5.

Lindsey Vonn was airlifted off the slops at the World Alpine Skiing Championships and taken to a hospital. Doctors diagnosed here with a torn anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments and a lateral tibial plateau fracture. She reportedly flew to Colorado on Tiger Woods' private jet to undergo surgery.

Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods seem to be taking things to next level. The two superstar athletes are not only getting to know each other's families, but Vonn's brother also recently gave skiing lessons to Tiger Woods' children.

Woods, 37, and Vonn, 28, are spending more and more time together. However, they both have marital history. Tiger Woods' ex-wife Elin Nordegren was the subject of the highly-publicized Tiger Woods scandal three years ago when the golfer was discovered to be having a multitude of extra-marital affairs. Lindsey Vonn only officially ended her marriage last month to fellow skier Thomas Vonn.

Although Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn have denied any romantic involvement with one another, the two are being very secretive about the relationship they have. In a recent interview with a local TV station prior to her incident, a reporter tried to get information about Tiger Woods from her by asking if Woods would be arriving in Austria.

"Oh my God, I don't know," Von said smiling. "You should ask him."

Smiles and giggles from Lindsey Vonn reportedly ensued in response.
