Miley Cyrus' Cosmopolitan cover is pink and fuchsia, but her look at the Acme launch party was anything but.
I may only be in high school, but I've been a Miley fan as long as I can remember. When I started my fan site, MileyOnline.com, a few years ago, I never could have imagined how big it would become.
I've met Miley before. But, I have to say, it never gets old.
The Cosmo party took place at the hot Noho eatery Acme, with a big blown-up cover of Miley outside.
I walked inside, and it was a bit crowded. Russell Simmons walked in with rapper Wacka Flocka, and then a few more rappers followed.
"Miley! Miley! Finally!" fans screamed. Cameras flashed and the crowds started going crazy as "Party in the USA" blared on the speakers.
Miley was joined by her mother, Tish, and Joanna Coles, the editor of Cosmopolitan. All the while everyone struggled to get a glimpse of the now-platinum-blond singer, who was wearing a two-tone Maison Martin Margiela maxi.
Miley's song "Full Circle" started to play. Miley finished posing for pictures and was escorted to the back of the room to sit at her table and talk to press.
There was a rope separating the rest of the party from Miley, her friends, and family. Miley did a few interviews, then mingled with friends.
I finally got into the section with Miley and went right up to her. She hugged me, and we spoke for a bit. She gushed over my hair, and had me show my hairstyle to her friends, publicist and mom. She was super-sweet, as always.
Miley had a very busy week in NYC, attending the Rachel Zoe, Marchesa and Marc Jacobs shows. She even attended a mystery meeting with MAC Cosmetics. What could be in store next?
Well, if you're like me you can't wait to find out.
