Between winning awards for Temple Grandin and landing a role on the hit series Homeland, the 33-year-old has become a mainstay on the red carpet. And for good reason. Gravitating towards solid hues and slim silhouettes, Claire has developed a reputation for subtle sophistication.

A slim cut isn't out of the question during the second trimester, but it has to be handled carefully. Our advice? Take your cues from Kate Hudson, Jessica Alba, Reese Witherspoon and Natalie Portman. They've all handled their pregnancies with grace and style.
Here are some of our favorites ...
1. The sunny yellow Versace dress that Kate Hudson wore to the Something Borrowed premiere in May 2011 showed off her assets while softly covering her growing bump.
2. When Jessica Alba showed up at the 2011 BAFTAs wearing a bold, cobalt-blue strapless by Versace, everyone stopped and stared. The color was a gutsy move, and she more than pulled it off.
3. Reese Witherspoon took our breath away at the Cannes Film Festival in May when she stepped out in this navy stunner by, you guessed it, Versace.
4. Last, but definitely not least, was Natalie Portman's 2011 Oscar gown by Rodarte. We're not sure if it was that rich-plum hue, the tassel Tiffany earrings or the deep-V neckline. But any which way, we were hooked!
As you see, many of our favorite looks came from Versace. Claire's normally a Calvin Klein girl. But it might be time to switch allegiances. We can't imagine that her husband, Hugh Dancy, would complain.
