Mokiki's "Sloppy Swish" dance was the real star of the most recent Saturday Night Live, not celebrity guest host Anne Hathaway. Narrated by Kenan Thompson, the music video sketch stars Taran Killam as a freaky medical lab patient turned zombified dancer and Hathaway as a girl who falls for him.

Watch the "Legend of Mokiki and the Sloppy Swish" for yourself:
Mokiki's "Sloppy Swish" dance marks the first time SNL has returned to pre-recorded viral-ready video sketches since Andy Samberg's departure from the show at the end of last season. Samberg helped launch the "SNL Digital Short," starring in the first one ever ("Lazy Sunday") with Chris Parnell. Last weekend's Mokiki sketch lacked the "Digital Short" stamp, but it was clearly a video in the same vein, and with the same intentions.
A number of reporters and bloggers have also compared Mokiki's Sloppy Swish dance video with PSY's "Gangnam Style." The Korean Pop (KPop) mega-hit that took the world by storm largely thanks to the singer-rapper's unique dance moves.
Personally, we don't see Mokiki and the Sloppy Swish catching on the way "Gangnam Style" did, but we're still happy to see that the SNL Digital Short will live on even without Andy Samberg on the show.
