A video of a bus driver punching an unruly passenger in Cleveland has gone viral, and already some creative souls are comparing the now-suspended driver to Mortal Kombat's Johnny Cage.
Cage is known in the game for his vicious uppercut that would literally knock his opponent's head off. So fittingly, one YouTube user named BigCheeseKIT posted a video on the site of the driver's punch with the Mortal Kombat music playing in the background.

The classic Mortal Kombat phrase "Finish Her" appears on the screen as the driver is shown delivering the uppercut over and over again. Ultimately, the "match" ends with the driver earning a "double flawless" fatality.
If you prefer watching Nintendo characters beat each other up, then stay tuned for the end of the video. This time, Smash Brothers music plays in the background while the driver hits the girl with an epic Falcon Punch.
The Mortal Kombat comparison is making its way around Twitter as well. One user posted a photo on Instagram that shows the driver alongside Subzero and Scorpion on the "Choose Your Fighter" screen.
The original video features a girl getting into an argument with the bus driver. Eventually the driver gets fed up and punches the girl with a powerful uppercut. He then starts slamming her into a pole, and she eventually slaps him back. You can watch the original version here or the censored version here.
According to the Cleveland Dealer, the Cleveland Regional Transit Authority has watched the video and has already suspended the driver. He has not yet been fired, though if he is, maybe he can replace Cage in the next Mortal Kombat game.
