When I first read about the Adappt XT, an iPhone case-swiss army knife hybrid featuring a sizable blade, I assumed it was a joke. Then I found the page on IndieGoGo, a crowd-funding website, where Jack Bat Designs has already raised almost $8,000 (of their $17,000 goal) to fund the product. I guess I should have seen this coming after a different designer with a similar idea raised over $100,000 to manufacture an iPhone 5 case with a built-in stun gun.

According to Adappt XT co-creator Joe, Jack Bat Designs is "answering questions you didn't know you're phone was asking." Apparently our iPhones have been quietly asking for a sharp 1.5-inch knife all along.
Beyond a trusty blade, this iPhone case also features a multi-tool card including a screw driver, bottle opener, hex cut-outs, and even a mirror and magnifying glass. Best of all, the Adappt XT comes in three color optons: Belmond Red, Coyote (brown), and Ninja Black.
