Sustainable Design: Machine Turns Paper Waste Into Pencils

The P&P Office Waste Processor is an amazing new invention that turns used paper into usable pencils. 

Designed by Chengzhu Ruan, Yuanyuan Liu, Xinwei Yuan and Chao Chen, it's unclear exactly how this device works. All you need is pencil lead and glue. The insert your paper waste in and watch the machine spit out pencils. The machine also functions as a pencil sharpener.

The new invention is already turning heads and was even awarded a Lite-On Award for tech design. For now, the device is still just a prototype, but with any luck it will be available in stores and used and schools and offices in the near future.
