'Batman of Shanghai:' The Dark Knight Gets a Retro 1930s Redesign [VIDEO]

If the "Dark Knight Rises" left you unsatisfied and craving more Caped Crusader action then this animated short is exactly what you've been waiting for. Prepare to watch Catwoman run through the streets of 1930s Shanghai, Bane scale the city's skyscraper like King Kong, and a mystical Batman transforms into a swarm of bats.

"Bat Man of Shanghai" was created by Wolf Smoke Studio as part of Cartoon Network's popular DC Nation block. Previous DC Nation shorts, including "Teen Titans Go!" and "Super Best Friends Forever," have become full fledged cartoon series, so there's hope that Batman may be returning to 1930s Shanghai on a weekly basis to fight crime in the near future.
